Admission Procedure
GNES warmly welcomes students from all nationalities and cultural backgrounds who show a willingness to learn, grow, and thrive in the school’s dynamic, supportive environment, which features a diverse community and a set of challenging international curricula and programmes designed to encourage both academic excellence and personal development.
After registration, the candidate is required to appear for the entrance test. Admission will be given to those who qualify the admission test. However, admisssions are subject to availability of seats.

Siri Guru Nanak Devji, founder of Sikhism, has taught the world that all human beings, regardless of caste, class, religion, gender, or nationality, are created equal. Truth is the highest religion and to walk on its path is the purpose of human life.
Siri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born on 15 April 1469. His father, Mehta Kalyan Das Bedi, was a business person. Their house later came to be known as Nankana Sahib. He had two sons, Sri Chand and Lakhmi Das. One of his lifelong friends was Bhai Mardana Ji. They travelled together across the Indian subcontinent to spread the message of universality and harmony.
He emphasised the importance of three core principles:Kirat Karo, Vand Chhako, and Naam Japo.

Sdr. Paramjeet Singh Ahluwalia
Guru Nanak English School started in 1969 under the aegis of Guru Nanak Education Society. A team of dedicated members, who had great foresight under the leadership of Sdr. Sudarshan Singh Ji, persevered to give shape and form to this idea. This foundation was further strengthened by dedicated knowledge holders and educators who made significant contributions in defining the vision of the school.
With time, the institution has grown and matured and is shared today with students from across Varanasi and nearby areas. The school has established itself as one of the best CBSE schools in the city today.
Apart from several academic and co-curricular achievements, the school actively nurtures and qualifies students as its foremost objective. The teaching from kindergarten to primary classes focuses on imparting real-life lessons that help boost every child into a realistic and potential future workplace.
